Advances in Intelligent Temperature-controlled Biomimetic Fibers and Fabrics

Abstract: Clothing, the medium between the human body and the outside environment, provides multiple protections for people against cold, heat, rain, wind, etc. In recent years, simulating the relationship between biological functions and structures based on bionic principles is considered to be a promising design method for temperature-controlled fibers and fabrics. From the perspective of thermal insulation and cooling properties, the paper reviews some temperature-controlled biomimetic fibers and fabrics cases and looks ahead to future trends.
