Abstract: This paper briefly introduces the technological process, product performance, and application status of China’s polylactic acid (PLA) spunmelt nonwovens, points out the problems in product development and related countermeasures and looks forward to the development and application prospects of polylactic acid (PLA) in the new MultiForm^TM spunmelt technology.
