Abstract: This paper analyzes the research status of fabric drapability and summarizes related results in recent years, including measurement methods, the relationship between mechanical properties of fabric and fabric drapability, and the evaluation system of fabric drape. Meanwhile, the paper concludes the new research directions in fabric drapability in recent years, such as the modeling methods of fabric drapability and virtual fabric drapability research. In the end, it proposes the future development trends of fabric drape.
