Abstract: This paper introduces the characteristics of the hollow sandwich composite, summarizes related common molding processes, including hand-forming, filament winding, vacuum-assisted molding,mechanical forming, etc., expounds the application of hollow sandwich composite in rail transit, and looks forward to its application prospects.
