Process Research on Reducing Compressed Air Consumption of Airjet Loom

Updated: 7/24/2019 12:28:31 PM

Abstract: The paper describes a process for reducing the compressed air consumption of air-jet looms. Taking the Tsudakoma 9200 loom as an example, without changing the original configuration of the loom, the purpose of reducing the compressed air consumption can be achieved through the study of the relationship between the throttle and control modes as well as different operating speed, pressure and injection time. The process improvement was based on the experimental analysis on the relationship between the injection time of the main and auxiliary nozzles and the operating speed in different throttle modes. By shortening the injection time of the main and auxiliary nozzles, the pressure of main and auxiliary nozzles was reduced, and lowered the number of auxiliary nozzles, so as to reduce compressed air consumption.
