Abstract: This paper summarizes the structure and main fabrication methods of carbon nanotube fibers.The reaction mechanism of the direct-spinning and simulations on the flow field in the reacting furnace are emphasized. The development trends of direct-spinning based fabrication of carbon nanotube fibers are predicted.
