Abstract: Embroidery is a long-standing and well-established technique and one of the most important decorative methods for clothing. The paper makes an approach to the application of the characteristic circled golden embroidery – an embroidery technique in Guangdong embroidery － in modern clothing design by discussing color matching, pattern design and technique of circled golden embroidery.
