Abstract: By controlling the dumbbell structure of side-by-side bicomponent fiber can better show their three-dimensional crimp structure and elastic function. The research results show that the volume ratio,the melt viscosity ratio of the two components of side-by-side composite fibers and the structure of the nozzle plate in the spinning process are the three important factors in controlling the formation of dumbbell structure of side-by-side bicomponent fiber.
