Abstract: There is a big amount of waste textiles generated every year in China, but the recycling and reutilization rate is quite low. Based on introducing the efforts have been made by Chinese government, related industries and researchers to the reclamation of waste textiles, the paper points out some problems existing in this aspect, such as imperfect recycling system, poor public awareness, small industrial scale and technological bottlenecks, and puts forwards related solutions.
