Abstract: The flushable wipes is a kind of consumer products which can pass through the entire sewer system and can be biodegradable in environment. When producing flushable wipes, biodegradable fiber is essential. The products need to be small size and have suitable wet strength. Most important, they can be flushable. The technology development and application status-quo of the nonwovens which can be used to produce flushable wipes are introduced in this article, especially the market and standard development of flushable nonwoven products in USA and Europe.
