Abstract: In recent years, with the raise of people’s consumption level and diversification of consumer demand, functional home textiles have got rapid development. However, from the view of evaluating their functions, developments of related testing technologies and standards are hysteretic relatively. This article introduced developing status of functional home textiles in testing technologies and standards at home and abroad based on market demand on main functions of home textiles, such as anti-mite, anti-bacteria, antimosquitoes,anti-crease, water repellency, oil repellency, soil release, resistance to ultraviolet, antistatic and far-infrared radiation properties. Shortages in developing testing method and standards of functional home textiles were pointed out by comparing related standards and some suggestions were threw out.
