Determination of Trace Arsenic in Textiles by ICP-OES Method with Nano-Fe3O4 Concentrate and Separation

Updated: 8/14/2014 11:30:08 AM

Abstract: The article establishes a method to determine trace arsenic extracted from textiles which is concentrated with nanometer material by ICP-OES method. The trace arsenic in textiles was extracted by using simulation acidic sweat prepared based on GB/T 3922 and concentrated from the extract by nano- Fe3O4, at last it was determined by ICP-OES method after the matrix matching. The optimal conditions are at room temperature, pH value 5.5, quantitatively concentrating the trace arsenic in textiles with 50 mg nano-Fe3O4, shocking for 240 min, standing for centrifugal, discarding the supernatant soluble and then determining the trace arsenic in the extract of textiles by ICP-OES after matrix matching. The recovery of arsenic after concentration and separation by this method is over 91%. Actual textile standard recovery rate is between 91.98% ~ 102.08% and average recovery rate is 96.38%.
