Abstract: An 18 tex blended yarn（60% of moisture-wicking polyester and 40% of cotton）and an 18 tex pure cotton yarn were spun by using same spinning process. Then the two kinds of yarn were made into knitted fabric samples by using same knitting technology, and the tensile strength, hairiness and evenness of the two kinds of yarn and the moisture-wicking properties of the two knitted fabric were tested and analyzed.The results showed that various properties of the moisture-wicking polyester/cotton blended yarn are better than those of the cotton yarn and moisture-wicking property of the blended fabric was also better than that of the cotton fabric.
