Abstract: In this article, the classification of medical textiles was reviewed, China’s import and export data of medical textiles during the period of 2007 to 2010 were given and knitting techniques for producing surgical implanting textiles such as artificial blood vessel, hernia patch, artificial ligament, expandable metallic stent, artificial trachea, GTR barrier and tendon scaffold reinforcement were illustrated.
