Abstract: The article introduces the characteristics and application of axial weft-knitted fabric, compared it with axial warp-knitted fabric in terms of performance and production advantages, analyzed production principles and knitting processes of different types of axial weft-knitted fabric and discussed both advantages and disadvantages of popular materials used for axial weft-knitted fabric. The performance of axial weft-knitted fabric produced with different materials is compared. The article also expounds the factors influencing the performance of axial weft-knitted fabric, providing theoretical support for the development and application of axial weft-knitted fabric.
