Abstract: The article describes the characteristics of the most typical knitted structures including mesh structure, spacer structure, oriented structure and molding structure and their applications in industrial textiles. Each type of the knitted structures was elaborated from structure features, performance, production methods and applications in industrial textiles field. Finally the article points out the key for the future development of industrial textiles.
