Abstract: The paper analyzes the key processes for producing an extra-fine tri-component (long-staple cotton/high-count mercerized wool/Tencel) yarn, including the blowing-carding process, the drawing process, the roving process, the spinning process, the winding process and the doubling and twisting process.It also introduced the technical difficulties and innovations in the selection of raw materials, in pretreatment of raw materials, in the selection of spinning process and in quality control.
