Abstract: By making good use of raw materials, innovative technologies and environmental-friendly finishing process, the trend of developing worsted products based on low-carbon concept was explained.Wool and other protein fibers blended or interwoven with recycled fibers, functional fibers and natural cellulose fibers, innovative technologies that can bring about changes to materials, pattern and style, as well as small bath ratio and low-discharge finishing processes such as package dyeing, beam printing and functional compound finishing all help enhance the price/performance ratio and wearability of the products while also promoting energy conservation and environmental-friendly sustainable development.
