Abstract: A new kind of polyacrylate adhesive was prepared through soap-free emulsion polymerization.The influences of reaction conditions on the polymerization were researched. The result showed that the optimum reaction conditions were as follows: temperature 80 ℃, adding time of pre-emulsion 1 h, holding time 1 h, initiator dosage 0.6%, the ratio of hard monomers to soft monomers at 1.38∶1. Printed cotton and T/C fabric cloud be endowed with good rubbing fastness by using the adhesive prepared under the optimum reaction conditions.
