Abstract: Based on different properties of aramid 1414 fiber and cotton fiber, process parameters were optimized and the difficulties existing in the spinning process were solved, and by combining with production practice, the high-quality 27.9 tex 50/50 aramid 1414/cotton blended yarn was spun on modern spinning machine. The yarn was then tested. The test results show that the yarn has high strength, better evenness and less hairiness.
