Abstract: A kind of wet steaming pad dyeing process was developed based on equipment upgrading of soaping machine. The dyeing process was then applied on high count and high density ProModal fabric.Compared with the traditional pad dyeing, the new process could improve the washing and rubbing fastness of the fabric by 0.5 grade. In addition, the wet steaming process was simple and efficient, and had many advantages in the respect of dyeing effect.
