Abstract: In order to provide an innovative fabric with better wearability for summer wear, the paper introduced the 50114-59A plain fabric woven with FDY-POY filament yarn, compared it with a conventional polyester plain fabric available on market, tested and analyzed the main wearing properties of the fabric.The test results show that the new fabric exhibited many advantages, such as better air permeability, crease resistance, drapability and mechanical properties. Therefore, 50114-59A plain fabric is an ideal fabric for making summer wear.
