Abstract: Hot-melt size is an innovative textile sizing agent, which can be prepared by bulk polymerization of MC, VAC, AM and MMA with BPO as the initiator. By taking molecular weight, melting point and water solubility into consideration, the best reaction condition is obtained: reaction time is 3h, reaction temperature is 75℃ and the dosage of the initiator is 0.40%.
