Abstract: The paper introduced the structure and functions of modern computer-controlled cone pulley-less multi-motor-driven roving frame, analyzed and commented on the technological progress in sliver guiding,drafting, flyer, broken-end stop motion, automatic doffing system and conveyor system between roving frame and spinning frame; discussed the concept of promising flyer roving frame featured high speed and energy-saving; and gave some suggestions on tackling key technical points.
