Abstract: This paper pointed out that kinetic energy loss of air flow was the main cause of power consumption in air flow dyeing machine. A new dyeing method was put forward based on the separation of air flow and dye liquor to reduce energy consumption. Besides, the new method also had benefits of flexible control on dyeing process conditions and improvement on production efficiency as well as level dyeing.
