Abstract: Electrospinning is a well-known method to produce nanofiber which has some special characteristics and wide applications. However, due to the low production efficiency, conventional electrospinning process which uses needle to generate nanofiber encounters difficulties in practical applications. Needleless electrospinning technology is regarded as a new spinning mode and has shown potentials in industrialization of nanofibers. This paper mainly introduced some recent developments of this technology.
