Abstract: The centrifugal spinning has been proven to be a new method to produce nanofibers, which has higher efficiency and material diversity than traditional electrospinning. At the same time, this technology overcomes some limitations of melt electrospinning and solution electrospinning. This paper introduced the development of centrifugal spinning, as well as the mechanism of forcespinning and centrifugal electrospinning. Besides, the factors impacting the quality and output of fiber with centrifugal spinning were also analyzed.
