Abstract: Building internet of things is a good way to reduce energy consumption and cost. This paper took a domestic cotton spinning mill as an example to analyze the relationship between energy consumption and output value and profit. The authors also introduced a construction scheme and functional design of the internet of things to reduce textile mill’s energy consumption and cost.
