Abstract: This paper presented a demands-driven functional clothing design model. Integrating analysis of demands of user, trends of market, natural of activities, and environment conditions, key design parameters such as wearer’s physiological and functional/performance requirements were identified, design details in the terms of fabric, garment style, pattern structure, and even manufacturing process were specified.
