Abstract: When dyed in low liquor ratio overflow jet dyeing machine, knitting fabric went under high tension, which might cause shrinkage in width, weight loss of per unit area and vertical crease. In this paper,the causes of high tension were analyzed, and some measures on tension control were put forward from the view of machine design and dyeing process.
