Abstract: In order to meet the needs of guideline on best available technologies of pollution prevention and control for dyeing and finishing of textile industry, the generation and emission node of waste water, waste gas and solid waste were analyzed. The types and source of main pollutant were identified. According to the analysis results，the index system which was composed of target layer, criterion layer and index layer was established by using analytic hierarchy process. The index system included management indicators,economic indicators, environmental indicators and technical indicators, and consisted of 18 specific indicators. The meaning and calculating method of each index were also described.
