Abstract: The traditional polyester/cotton fabric pretreatment process has some obvious shortcomings,particularly that it consumes large amounts of water, power and steam leading to higher costs. In this paper,cold pad-batch pretreatment process was applied to polyester/cotton fabric. Practice has proved pretreatment effect could meet the requirements of dyeing, and the comprehensive cost fell sharply; cold pad-batch pretreatment process could provide remarkable economic and environmental benefits.
