Abstract: The mechanism and classification of sound-absorbing materials were introduced in this paper. Based on presentation of the advantages, influencing factors and development status-quo of sound-absorbing materials, especially nonwoven sound-absorbing material, the authors gave some suggestions on developing high-performance sound-absorbing materials.
