Abstract: The current situation of vibration and noise reduction of needle loom as well as damping technology were summarized in this article. Based on analyzing the source of vibration and noise, the existing problems and development trends of needle loom, the authors introduced the application of damping technology. Besides, some countermeasures for reducing the vibration and noise of needle loom were also put forward.
