Abstract: Functional coating fabric was one of the most important research direction in the textile field in the 21st century. The level of its production equipment’s automation, continuity, accurateness played a key role on the quality of the final product. This paper introduced the research status of the straightener system, tension control system, energy-saving system and so on in the functional coating fabric production equipment. Finally, the developing direction of functional coating fabric production equipment such as transport system, stuff conversion system, coating system, mangle system, energy-saving system and so on was discussed.
