The microwave drying is a potential new drying technology, which has many advantages such as high efficiency, uniform drying. The article described the new technology of drying viscose yarn with microwave dryer. The effect of microwave drying time and roll position on the moisture content of yarn was studied.Moreover, the drying capacity of microwave dryer was discussed, which will provide research foundation for the microwave drying technology applied in dyeing & finishing industry.
