Abstract: The major emphasis of this article is on three kinds of ballistic & stab resistant material, which are shear thickening fluid (STF) -aramid fiber composite, thermoplastic–aramid fiber composite and multidirection UHMWPE UD. Both the technical characters and researching status of these materials have been illustrated. The development trend of ballistic & stab resistant material has also been discussed.
