Composite reinforced with natural fibers is a significant topic for technical textiles industry. Due to its recyclable raw materials with few environment effects, along with good processability and acoustic characteristic, this kind of material has got a rapid development in some developed regions. This article primarily introduced components with several bast fibers and leaf fibers, in terms of process technology, features, performances and cost advantages, and researched the feasibility of developing biocomposites as well.
