Recently, nonwovens industry is booming in China, among which, wipes is one kind of the end products that are closely to industry and people´s daily life. The classification, production technology and the development tendency of nonwoven wipes were introduced in this paper, as well as some problems to be solved for its further development. In addition, the authors mentioned the importance of using biodegradable or easily degradable fibers for the sustainable development of nonwoven wipes industry.
