With spunlaid production line going for multi-beam, wider, high-speed, high production capacity and more efficient, the winder correspondingly, is tend to be wider, faster, more reliable, more automatic, and with separate functions of winding and slitting. Basic principle of winder was introduced in this paper, as well as the requirements of the production line. Furthermore, some suggestions were put forward based on analyzing the characteristics and application of winders from some leading producers abroad.
