PLA fiber and its products is a research hotspot for global man-made fiber industry, among which,in the field of PLA spunbond nonwovens, some enterprises and institutes in Japan have made great improvements, and Chinese researchers and manufacturers have been speeding up their paces. This article introduced the production of PLA spunbond nonwovens in terms of spinning process, equipment selection, factors influencing the performance of products, et al., anticipating to provide some references for those who are interested in this field.
