This article discussed the ecological assessment of the pretreatment agent and related issues in textile dyeing and printing, as well as the ecological safety of major surfactants and chelating dispersants. The ecological safety of alkyl benzene ring sodium, alkyphenol ethoxylates and EDTA was mainly discussed on toxicological aspect.
