DOW XLA^TM fiber is a new elastic fiber superior to spandex in many properties. In this paper, the effects of dyeing temperature and time on the elastic knitted fabrics of DOW XLA^TM were investigated, as well as the difference of elastic recovery between dyed fabrics and undyed fabrics. The results showed that the temperature had much effect on elastic recovery and the elasticity of the dyed fabrics declined after dyeing.
