Abstract: Textile fabrics made of different fibers have different printing and dyeing behavior. The article discusses the quality requirements on dyes and pigments that are used both for printing different textile fabrics in different conventional processes and for making inks for the innovative ink-jet printing process. It offers valuable reference for technical personnel engaged in printing business to correctly select dyes and pigments.
