The newly developed SBS series promoters for one-bath dyeing-fixing process are innovative products that can replace traditional soda and substitute soda. It is claimed that such promoters offer many advantages such as reduced washing cycle as they are added into the bath in “one-time”manner before or after heating, offering a reaction environment different to soda-based bath, which allows dyes to adapt to wider temperature range; reduced environment burden due to clear drainage as a result of low dosage is used, and help reduce dyeing defects such as colored spot and color difference.
