The bamboo pulp fabrics were pretreated with a self-made amine-terminated hyperbranched polymer (HBP–NH₂) and were dyed with reactive dyes. Factors influenced the pretreatment conditions were investigated. The results showed the Zeta potential was enhanced for the fabrics surface; the optimized process were: the HBP–NH2 solution concentration of 2 g/L, pH value at 7.0, room temperature about 20 ℃ and pretreatment 30 min.
