Updated: 3/11/2010 10:54:00 AM

- An Effective Approach to Achieve High Efficiency and Environment Protection

The pretreatment process of cotton fabrics is the undoubted sector which consumes the largest quantity of energy and water and brings about the largest pollution during the dyeing and finishing chain because of the usage of NaOH. Based on the analysis on the different kind of impurity on cotton fabrics and the effect brought by NaOH and enzyme to these impurites, this article has adopted biology and chemical technologies to achieve non-NaOH pretreatment process. The application result shows non-NaOH pretreatment process has some advantages such as short flow, low energy and water consumption, low COD in waste water, high efficiency, which is an effective approach to achieve high efficiency and environment protection.
