In this paper, the principle and methods of textile anti-ultraviolet finishing were discussed. Then,the application of rare earth in textile anti-ultraviolet finishing was introduced from two different views. It was concluded that textile could obtain excellent anti-ultraviolet effect through finishing with rare earth.
