The different application finishing technologies of textile, for example surface finishing, chemical,wool, silk functional finishing, multi-functional composite finishing and some correlative test methods have been introduced and the excellence and defects of these finishing have also been discussed in this paper. Meanwhile, the high and new technologies as nano, microwave, ultrasonic,microencapsulate, plasma in textile finishing have been summarized, and its development have also been described in the end.
