The bamboo pulp fabric was endowed with antibacterial activity via been treated by the zinc liquor in some concentrations. The quantity of zinc combined and the mechanical property were studied by the variety of factors including reacting time, concentration and bath ratios. The results showed that the bamboo pulp fabric treated by zinc liquor hold antibacterial activity and fastness to water.The quantity of zinc combined was relative to reacting time, concentration and bath ratios in some extent. But the mechanical property almost had no significant change, keeping the original level.
